Quite the anomaly this book was. Still can't figure out why every time I saw this book on eBay it was well over 20 dollars. After getting this for a little under that price I can't say that I  was surprised that this is just one of those kids guides that you'd buy at the book fair.The only thing I could think of to explain it is that this book was published in 2004 when Batman Beyond ended in 2001. Meaning that this book might be a low print run well after Batman Beyonds run that they decided to sell because the series never got a guide book during its original run.
Whatever the reason is its a pretty good series guide book but its so short for the price. It does a good job of going over most characters and even includes some from the tie-in comic book. That's another thing is that it includes some screenshots from the show but it heavily relies on art from the comic books. Overall probably worth a pickup if you're a big fan of the show or collect everything for it.
